Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas blasted President Joe Biden on Fox News on Thursday for calling Kyle Rittenhouse a “white supremacist” last year. Cotton said that Biden and other Democrats always resort to name-calling because they know they are "losing an argument on the merits." Biden referred to Rittenhouse as a white supremacist in a campaign ad posted on Twitter last fall.
Democrat leaders think nearly everything is racist.
At least when they feel they are losing an argument according to Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton.
Cotton went on Fox News on Thursday and ripped President Joe Biden for equating Rittenhouse with white supremacists in a campaign ad. Rittenhouse’s controversial trial has been making headlines all week.
“But when Joe Biden called Kyle Rittenhouse a white supremacist last year, it really was just the go-to move of the Democrats,” Cotton said on Fox & Friends.
Cotton mentioned that “racism” is the claim Democrats make whenever they know they’ve lost an argument. He said this is what’s happening around the school board protests or the Republican victories in Virginia two weeks ago.
He even pointed out that some Democrats claim that “the United States Constitution or the norms and the customs of the United States Senate” are racist whenever they don’t get their way.
“When Joe Biden called Kyle Rittenhouse a white supremacist last year, it really was just the go-to move of the Democrats. They do this all the time when they're losing an argument on the merits. They don't like parents going to school boards to protest what their kids are learning or school closures, so those parents are called racists. They don't like that Virginians elected Republicans last week, [so] they condemn Virginia voters as racist. They don't like the United States Constitution or the norms and the customs of the United States Senate, so they call it racist. They are constantly losing arguments with the American people, and then they just revert to name-calling towards their opponents. It's not a sign of a party that is strong or healthy.” - Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton
