Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that President Joe Biden was not involved with his son Hunter’s business dealings while he was vice president for Barack Obama. Psaki was pressed by reporters about whether Biden had ever spoken with Hunter’s business partners about their commercial dealings. Earlier this week, the New York Post reported that Eric Schwerin, Hunter Biden’s former business partner, met with VP Biden at the White House multiple times.
The Hunter Biden laptop scandal continues.
Not only are more details about Hunter’s business dealings being released, but more info continues to point to Joe Biden’s involvement during his time as VP.
The New York Post revealed more information earlier this week that Eric Schwerin, Hunter Biden’s former business partner, visited the White House more than 24 times while Joe Biden was vice president.
Schwerin met with many of Biden’s aides including his former chief of staff, former associate counsel, and former counselor among others.
Despite this, Jen Psaki continued to deny any connection between Hunter’s business dealings and the President, saying, “Again, nothing has changed since what I said yesterday. The president does not get involved in the business dealings of his son." When pressed further, Psaki said, “He's not involved in his son's business dealings."
Hunter Biden has been involved with allegedly corrupt companies in Ukraine and companies connected to the Chinese Communist Party.
