Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) served as a physician to Presidents Bush, Obama, and Trump. He recently stated that “there is something going on” with President Biden’s mental health. “He’s confused; he’s disoriented,” Jackson said. He added that the way Biden is acting with the public is a “major red flag,” especially with how he has struggled to hold coherent press conferences and give speeches.
President Biden’s behavior over the last six months of his administration (and his time on the campaign trail) has given many Americans reason to believe that he is suffering from cognitive decline.
Rep. Ronny Jackson, a White House physician during the last three administrations, has stated that Biden must undergo a cognitive test as part of his physical checkups. He stated that Biden’s behavior is abnormal. “You can go back – there’s forty years of tape of this man – he’s always made gaffes and stuff but these are different,” Jackson stated.
Jackson wrote a letter to Biden and the White House physicians last month, asking the president to agree to a cognitive test. He wrote, “Unfortunately, your mental decline and forgetfulness have become more apparent over the past eighteen months.” He claimed that Biden forgot things that “school-aged children could recite.”
“The American people should have full confidence in their President,” Jackson wrote to Biden and the White House physicians. He laid out several instances of Biden’s apparent forgetfulness, including times that he relayed events that did not occur or were off by years.
Biden has not stated whether he will agree to take a cognitive test.
"I think he's demonstrating every single day that there is something going on. You don't need to be a physician to look at this behavior and see there's something concerning happening.” - Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), former White House physician
