More Lies about Hunter's Foreign Business Dealings?

In Brief:
During a press conference on Tuesday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to address a recently uncovered voicemail exposing President Biden blatantly lying. Jean-Pierre replied, “I refer you to his son’s representative.” Hunter Biden is also currently under federal investigation for his tax affairs predicated by suspicious foreign transactions.

The Background:
Back in 2019, a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden was abandoned after being left at a repair shop. It was recovered by conservatives investigating the shady dealings by the Biden family, while a second laptop was later seized by the FBI. All of this occurred prior to the 2020 Presidential election.

However, the story was largely ignored by the liberal media, and declared “fake news” and part of a “Russian Misinformation” operation.

President Biden has repeatedly denied knowledge of, or discussing, business ventures with Hunter. In September of 2019 (during the height of the 2020 Presidential campaigns), then-Democratic candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden declared “I’ve never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”

However, that has now been proven a lie, and by his own mouth.

"Hey pal, it’s Dad. It’s 8:15 on Wednesday night. If you have a chance, give me a call. Nothing urgent—I just wanted to talk with you," Biden is heard saying in the voicemail from 2018. "I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good. I think you’re clear." Biden was referring to a 2018 New York Times article on Hunter Biden’s business dealings and private meeting with Ye Jianming, a Chinese oil executive who headed the now defunct CEFC China Energy Company.

According to the book Red-Handed, author Peter Schweizer claims that “The Chinese company paid him (Hunter Biden) nearly $6 million in 2017.” The Chinese company in question is CEFC China Energy.
When questioned about the voicemail and President Biden’s denials, Jean-Pierre stated: "Well, first, I’ll say that what the president said stands. So, if he, if that’s what the president said, that, that is what stands."When pressed further, Jean-Pierre said she was "not going to talk about alleged materials from the laptop" from "the podium." When asked if she was disputing that it was, in fact, Biden’s voice on the voicemail, Jean-Pierre said: "I’m not going to talk about alleged materials on the laptop."

Notable Quotes:
“I’m not going to talk about alleged materials on the laptop. It’s not happening,” Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters in response to a question about the voicemail. “I refer you to his son’s representative.”
