In Brief:

Kanye West, who has changed his name to Ye, is well known for his celebrity lifestyle, including a very successful musical career as well as being a fashion designer.  However, he has also become increasingly well-known for his conservative stance on many of the larger issues, especially compared to his peers in the celebrity world.

The Background:

This past week, Kanye, freshly back from Paris Fashion Week, sat down with Tucker Carlson to talk about the topics close to his heart. Mainly, he spoke about being pro-life and exposing the fraud of the Black Lives Matter organization.

Kanye discussed his passion about being pro-life while highlighting the overwhelming number of black babies aborted in the United States.

“I’m pro-life,” he said.

“What kind of response do you get?” Carlson asked, in reference to the Fashion Week badge Kanye was wearing of an ultrasound picture showing a fully formed baby.

“I don’t care about people’s responses, I care about the fact that there’s more black babies being aborted than born in New York City at this point. That 50 percent of black death in America is abortion. So I really don’t care about people’s responses, I perform for an audience of one, and that’s God,” Kanye replied.

Breitbart News reported in February that a New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene report found more black babies were killed by abortion in the city than were actually born there in 2012. With a  total of 88% of babies aborted being carried by a minority mothers.

Notable Quotes:

“Let me talk about Planned Parenthood. There’s the last figure I saw [sic] is there were 210,000 deaths that’s due to COVID in America. And everywhere you go, you see someone with a mask on … With abortion culture, there are 1,000 black children aborted a day.”-- Ye (formerly Kayne West)
