Hillary Blames GOP and MAGA for Pelosi Attack

In Brief:

Hilary Clinton has joined the throng of left wing voices (including the Biden Administration) who are playing the Paul Pelosi attack blame game. With zero evidence pointing to a conservative or even Republican political affiliation, many claim the attack was politically motivated and stemmed from an uber-conservative, Trump-supporting perspective.

The Background:

During the early morning hours of last Friday, a 911 call went out from Paul Pelosi claiming he was locked in a bathroom and being attacked by David Depape. However when police arrived, they found glass broken from the inside, and Paul holding the hammer before his alleged attacker took back possession of the hammer and hit Paul across the head. Paul Pelosi is now being treated at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.

A quick survey of mainstream media tells us the attacker, David Depape was deep into QAnon, conspiracy theories, MAGA, etc. But those closest to the situation tell a very different story. They tell of an illegal alien who is here on an expired visa. Green Party membership and the BLM and LGBT signs decorated across his sometime residence, a nudist commune in San Francisco’s gay Castro district, reports the New York Post.

And not to be forgotten, Paul Pelosi reportedly named David Depape as the attacker when he dialed 911. Neighbors report Depape was a regular at the Pelosi home. Not to mention the security that would be provided to the home of the number three government official in the country, right after the President and Vice President.

So could there possibly be more to the story? A quick search on the majority of the commentators on TikTok, Instagram, etc. believe so. However, as Glenn Greenwald has said, the pieces to the story are not lining up.  According to the Daily Wire, journalists who had questions about the prevailing narrative— on any topic — often feel  they can’t say anything without risking their careers.

Notable Quotes:

“The Republican Party and its mouthpieces now regularly spread hate and deranged conspiracy theories. It is shocking, but not surprising, that violence is the result. As citizens, we must hold them accountable for their words and the actions that follow.” – Hillary Clinton via Twitter
