During a recent interview Ye (formally Kanye West), made revealing comments in reference to the now infamous death of George Floyd. All senseless death is tragic, yet this particular death swiftly went viral. Was it for the right reasons, though? Or was there an agenda that needed funding? Apparently there is now another $250 million to be made from his death.
Ye references the recent documentary The Greatest Lie Ever Sold, made by Candace Owens, and its revelations surrounding the organization known as Black Lives Matter. The Greatest Lie Ever Sold, a documentary by Owens explores Floyd’s death, Chauvin’s conviction and the rise of Black Lives Matter (BLM), the protest group that raised tens of millions of dollars in the wake of Floyd’s death. It also investigates what BLM did and did not do with all of that money.
George Floyd’s ex-girlfriend is now suing Ye for trying “to promote his brands, and increase marketing value and revenue for himself, his business partners and associates,” as well as “emotional damage” to Floyd’s daughter.
What was it that caused the emotional damage? Ye stating the fact that George Floyd died of a fentanyl overdose, not police brutality. The autopsy reports, as well as multiple videos, have proven that Floyd did die of fentanyl.
Ye stated, “I watched the George Floyd documentary that Candace Owens put out. They hit him with the fentanyl,” Ye continued. “If you look, the guy’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that.”
“Please wear black out of respect for the demise of the movement which led black America into further poverty, incarceration, and despair.” -- Candace Owens
