FBI Raiding Peaceful Pro-Life Homes

  • Executive, Flyover Country

In Brief:

Once again, Biden’s FBI is turning on peaceful citizens. Not only peaceful citizens, but citizens protecting the most vulnerable of our population. The helpless unborn children of America. And yet this is who the FBI has chosen to target for their early morning raids. Guns drawn and all.

The Background:

The FBI has taken to raiding, at gun point, the homes of peaceful pro-life activists. First, Catholic pro-life activist and father Mark Houck. Back in April, the FBI notified Houck that he was under investigation for potential violations of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. However his attorney, Matt Heffron, had agreed to receive summons on Houck’s behalf should he be charged.

“I will accept a summons on my client’s behalf, rather [than] put Mr. Houck and his family through needless disruption,” Heffron wrote to Assistant U.S. Attorney Anita Eve in a June 9 email, according to The Federalist. Heffron also sent emails on May 21 and June 7, following up without receiving a response until the morning of the raid, informing him the raid had already taken place.

Yet according to multiple reports, roughly 20 FBI agents arrived at Houck’s home just after 7 a.m. on September 23 to take him into custody for two alleged violations of the FACE Act. Houck and his wife said the agents came to the home armed with rifles and pointed them at the couple.

Following that horrific raid and arrest, the FBI again arrived again to conduct an early morning raid with guns drawn to arrest Paul Vaughn on Oct 5.  Vaughn is the father of 11 children and the president of the pro-life Personhood Tennessee organization, an affiliate of the Personhood Alliance.  His crime? He had been present at a peaceful pro-life “rescue” that took place over a year ago in March of 2021 in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, and is being charged with violating the FACE Act with charges that carry 11 and 10 years of prison time and hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.

Paul was never arrested by the local police because instead of sitting-in, he had been recording the protest and working to mediate between the pro-life rescuers and the police to ensure everyone’s safety.  No one was hurt and no property was damaged as a result of the pro-life “rescue,” according to American Prolifer.
