There is now proof the FBI did not hold back in their efforts to protect Joe Biden and his campaign from suffering due to the legally questionable content of Hunter’s laptop. Recently released reports show that the agency then lied to protect themselves and the Biden family.
The Twitter Files are the gift that keeps giving. We have now seen proof that almost a year after the infamous laptop was handed over to the FBI, the FBI reached out to Twitter. The files reveal that the FBI requested the story be censored under the pretense of it being “misinformation” and the guise of protecting against “foreign interference in elections.”
According to the New York Post, in July 2020, three months before The Post broke the Hunter Biden laptop story, FBI Agent Elvis Chan emailed Yoel Roth (Twitter’s former head of trust and safety), suggesting that beginning 30 days before Election Day, Twitter executives would be granted temporary security clearances to discuss purported threats with FBI officials.
All involved have stressed that they did not know all the facts so they erred on the side of caution stating, “It has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” As stated previously, the FBI already had Hunter’s laptop — it had been in their possession for long enough to verify. So not only did the FBI actively interfere in an election, they lied when caught.
What the Twitter Files show is not caution, but a well-planned, deliberate effort and battle plan between the Biden campaign and the FBI to protect the Hunter Biden laptop story from damaging Joe Biden’s chances of winning the 2020 Presidential Election.
“The FBI’s collusion with Twitter to censor free speech is an assault on the Constitutional rights of Americans. The FBI will not get away with this blatant weaponization against its political opponents. To create a government accountable to the people, House Republicans will further expose the FBI’s direct involvement paying Twitter to suppress stories for political purposes, and we will hold the FBI accountable for using Twitter as a subsidiary. Accountability is coming, and House Republicans will deliver the truth.” – Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY)
