Mar-a-Lago 11/15/22: Donald Trump has announced he will run for the GOP presidential nomination for the 2024 elections. Announcing “America's comeback starts right now," the former president went on to explain his priorities for the nation. "We are here tonight to declare that it does not have to be this way."
This will be Trump’s 3rd presidential campaign, having won and served from 2016-2020. He then ran for a second term in 2020, and was challenged by lifetime politician Joe Biden, who was declared the winner after a hotly contested and highly controversial election fraught with fraud and questionable counting.
While the left is losing their mind over Trump’s announcement, many on the right are gathering to support and surround him.
U.S. Rep.-elect Wesley Hunt released a ringing endorsement of the former president. “The difference between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden could not be more stark, which is why I look forward to enthusiastically supporting Donald Trump’s bid for the White House.”
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) reminded FoxNews that there will be a contested Republican primary: “we’re going to have a process, we’re going to have a primary, we’re going to have a debate.” But he continued; “I think we accomplished a lot of good things when Donald Trump was president,” Cruz said. “If he’s the nominee, I’ll enthusiastically support him.”
