Emails recovered from Hunter Biden’s laptop continue to show that President Joe Biden was involved in some of his son’s business deals while he was vice president and while he was a civilian. Despite this, the White House continues to maintain that Biden was not involved and that everything Hunter Biden did was legal. Some of the emails show that Biden sent a letter of recommendation to Brown University for the son of a Chinese businessman.
In October of 2020, less than a month until the highly-controversial presidential election between Joe Biden and then-incumbent Donald Trump, the New York Post broke a story. The story alleged major corruption by Joe Biden while he was vice president under Obama. And their findings were based on a laptop that belonged to Hunter Biden recovered from a Delaware computer repair shop.
The story was deemed “misinformation” and considered to be hacked material by Twitter and all links to the story were blocked on the platform. Other social media giants followed suit and suppressed the information.
Now, the Post has been vindicated and emails from the laptop continue to show that Joe Biden was more involved in his son’s business dealings than he has admitted.
One email showed that Joe Biden wrote and sent a recommendation letter to Brown University for the son of one of Hunter’s powerful Chinese business partners, Jonathan Li.
A photo also shows that Joe Biden and Hunter Biden met with Mexican billionaires, Carlos Slim and Miguel Alemán Velasco, at the official vice president’s residence. This was in 2015 while Biden was the vice president.
“Jonathan, Hunter asked me to send you a copy of the recommendation letter that he asked his father to write on behalf of Christopher for Brown University.” - email from former Hunter Biden business partner to Jonathan Li
