A recent poll found over the weekend that 64% of independents doubt Joe Biden’s mental fitness, and 72% say he’s too old for the presidency.
A Harvard/Harris poll recently asked, “Is Joe Biden mentally fit to serve as President of the United States, or do you have doubts about his mental fitness for office?”
The answers were not flattering for our 46th president.
For mental fitness: 64% of independents, 79% of republicans, and 27% of democrats stated “no,” bringing the overall number to 58%. The numbers for “is he too old” were even more unflattering.
Even during Biden’s campaign in 2019 and 2020, there were many questions raised as to his mental fitness, especially the alleged breaks he was given in the more strenuous aspects of campaigning. And since taking office, those questions have only grown.
A quick Google search will yield numerous clips of Biden tripping, making up words, getting lost, shaking invisible hands, and being subject to angry outbursts at direct questions. He has also spent more time away from the White House than any other predecessor, describing it as a “gilded cage.”
“Watch me. If you think I don’t have the energy level or the mental acuity, then that’s one thing. It’s another thing, you just watch and keep my schedule.” – Joe Biden
